Who Are We?

The Right to Read Alliance campaigns for readers who can’t read standard print to be able to buy or borrow books which they can read at the same time as everyone else without having to pay extra. Minimising barriers and maximising opportunities for print disabled learners are close to our heart. We are made up of around 20 charities and organisations working for accessibility, with expertise across a wide range of fields, including major charities concerned with sight loss, dyslexia and other disabilities as well as technology specialists.

communication-1297544_960_720Membership is free. We meet twice a year (with face-to-face or dial in options) and between meetings voluntary subgroups combine our strengths and expertise to make things happen.

If “making things happen” sounds like your organisation, we would love to hear from you.
