Ongoing Campaigns

RNIB Campaigning

RNIB campaigns make sure that the interests of blind and partially sighted people in the UK are taken into account in all EU and international decisions which affect them.

The Marrakesh Treaty

The Marrakesh Treaty was adopted on June 27, 2013 in Marrakesh and it forms part of the body of international copyright treaties administered by World Intellectual Property Legislation (WIPO). It’s main goal is to create a set of mandatory limitations and exceptions for the blind and partially sighted people, and those who are otherwise print disabled.

The EU Accessibility Act

The European Accessibility Act aims to improve the functioning of the internal market for accessible products and services by removing barriers created by divergent legislation. This will facilitate the work of companies and will bring benefits for disabled and older people in the EU.
