The Marrakesh Treaty
The Marrakesh Treaty was adopted on June 27, 2013 in Marrakesh and it forms part of the body of international copyright treaties administered by World Intellectual Property Legislation (WIPO). It’s main goal is to create a set of mandatory limitations and exceptions for the blind and partially sighted people, and those who are otherwise print disabled.
The EU Accessibility Act
The European Accessibility Act aims to improve the functioning of the internal market for accessible products and services by removing barriers created by divergent legislation. This will facilitate the work of companies and will bring benefits for disabled and older people in the EU.
